For those attending Blues at Bridgetown in November, South West Blues Club Band The Resonators will be playing on the Blues Club Stage in the Main Street on Saturday 9th. We continue our long standing support for this great music festival and hope as many club members as possible can get to Blues at Bridgetown. It is bound to be another great weekend of live music.
Just a reminder that there will be NO BLUES CENTRAL in November due to the Blues at Bridgetown festival. As Blues Central falls on the same weekend we encourage club members to support the Bridgetown festival. We will be up and running again in December with a new Perth band, The Last Avocado and our own Dave Tiger and the Allsorts. We will see you all in December with a rip roaring show to take out the year.
These Jams just keep on rolling around. This weekend, the weather should be perfect, the Springtime temperature a balmy 21c, but on stage at Froth Craft Bunbrewery – Bunbury the mercury will be on the rise. Grab your kit and a friend and head on down for the States biggest monthly Jam Session, If you’re not a member, that’s OK you still get to play or listen to an afternoon of live music in great company and at one Bunbury’s finest venues. WOW, WOW and WOW again!!! Yep Whiskey Nips are back in town, with their dizzying pizazz and power. The sensational voice of Kirsty Finn , Blew Drew absolute master of the tin sandwich and the amazing Daniel Wiggins on guitar, plus and plus. We are so excited to have this 5 piece Funk Blues Band back at Blues Central and this time supported by club legends, Something Else. They are playing at Bridgetown this year but why wait when you can hear them at Blues Central. The other rumour is also correct. The Goldfield boys are back, Gaza fronting with powerhouse duo Ric and Steve and you won’t believe it but hard man Brad Mac is back on drums, so this is going to be one epic afternoon.
