A call to all blues bands

Blues Central in association with Froth Craft Bunbrewery has almost completed a year of showcasing the very best Blues Bands in Western Australia. South West Blues Club has been inspired by the standard of musicianship and the passion shown by bands for this monthly event. We have had great public support as we attempt to bring quality blues acts to Bunbury. At each session we have encouraged the South West Blues Club’s musicians and bands to support these acts and the results have been spectacular. Our bands have risen to the occasion and delivered class shows alongside the invitation bands. We are calling for interest from bands wishing to perform at Blues Central up until June of next year. Invitation bands will play for 2 x 45 minute sets and South West Blues Club Bands play a one hour set. Email your interest to: dave@brandnew.cc with details of your band and links to performances.

Jam Day Oct 2023

This is the Jam you do not want to miss. This month’s raffle is worth over $700 and includes a meat pack, a Yahava KoffeeWorks coffee hamper, a Froth bottle of wine and two tickets to Bridgetown Blues Festival. On top of all that is four hours of great music and a chance to chinwag with your mates. A reminder to members that we have the AGM ahead of the Jam. Don’t forget to bring your membership guitar pick to get 10% off drinks and food. See ya Sunday.

Blues Central – Oct 2023

A change of plan folks. Big Town Players are now booked for December and instead on Sunday we have the fabulous Louis Rebeiro and the Blues Machine. For those who missed these teenage wonders in March, now is your chance to see these guys on stage. To follow we have everyone’s favourites, Jimmy and the Survivors. See you on Sunday.
